Quick Setup Guide: Get Azent Running in 10 Minutes
Azent Delivery Time Slots lets your customers choose a delivery date and time slot during checkout. This guide walks you through the minimum setup to go live.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
Azent Delivery Time Slots installed from the Shopify App Store
Access to your Shopify Admin (store owner or staff with theme permissions)
Step 1 — Configure your delivery dates
Go to App → Settings → Delivery Dates.
Set the following:
Available days Check the days of the week when you can fulfill orders. For example, if you don't deliver on Sundays, uncheck Sunday.
Lead time The minimum number of days between when a customer places an order and their first available delivery date.
0= same-day delivery available1= next-day earliest2= two days ahead, and so on
Cutoff time If an order is placed after this time, that day is no longer available. For example: cutoff at 14:00 means orders placed after 2 PM cannot select today — the earliest date shifts to tomorrow (or later, depending on lead time).
Max future days How far ahead customers can schedule. 30 means they can pick any date within the next 30 days.
Click Save when done.
Step 2 — Create time slots
Go to App → Settings → Time Slots.
Click Add time slot and fill in:
You can create as many slots as you need. Common examples:
Morning: 09:00 – 12:00
Afternoon: 13:00 – 17:00
Evening: 18:00 – 21:00
Free plan note: The Free plan includes up to 5 time slots. Upgrade to Standard or Pro for unlimited slots.
Click Save when done.
Step 3 — Add the widget to your store
You have two options depending on where you want the date/time picker to appear.
Option A: Cart page widget
Go to App → Settings → Widget Display and click "Open Theme Editor (App Embed)".
In the Theme Editor:
Click App embeds in the left sidebar
Toggle "Delivery Time Slots App" to ON
Click Save
The widget will now appear on your cart page.
Option B: Checkout widget (recommended)
Go to App → Settings → Widget Display and click "Open Checkout Editor".
In the Checkout Editor:
Click "Add app block" or find the extensions panel
Select Azent Delivery Time Slots
Drag it to your preferred position
Click Save
The widget will appear at checkout for all orders.
You can enable both — cart widget for early visibility, checkout widget to ensure the date is captured before payment.
Step 4 — Test your setup
Open your store in a new browser tab (or use Incognito mode)
Add any product to the cart
Proceed to checkout
Confirm the date picker and time slot selector appear
