Show delivery info on Thank You and Order Status pages

This guide explains how to show selected delivery date and time on:

  • Thank You page

  • Order Status page

These blocks are useful for customer confirmation after checkout.


What customers will see

After order placement, customers can view delivery details such as:

  • Scheduled date

  • Scheduled time

This helps reduce support questions like "When will my order arrive?"


Before you start

Make sure:

  • Checkout widget is already saving delivery date/time

  • You have access to Shopify Checkout Editor

  • Azent app extension is installed

If no delivery data is saved at checkout, these pages will have nothing to display.


Add block to Thank You page

Go to App -> Settings -> Widget Display.

Click Open Thank You Editor.

In Shopify Checkout Editor:

  1. Switch to Thank You page

  2. Add Azent delivery info block

  3. Place it where you want

  4. Click Save


Add block to Order Status page

Go to App -> Settings -> Widget Display.

Click Open Order Status Editor.

In Shopify Checkout Editor:

  1. Switch to Order Status page

  2. Add Azent delivery info block

  3. Place it where you want

  4. Click Save


Customize block settings

In block settings, you can configure:

  • Heading text

  • Show/hide scheduled date

  • Date label text

  • Show/hide scheduled time

  • Time label text

Default labels are:

  • Scheduled date

  • Scheduled time


Important behavior

  • These blocks are display-only

  • They do not let customers edit delivery date/time

  • They show data already captured earlier in checkout/cart flow

If values are missing, usually the delivery date/time was not selected or not saved in checkout.


How to test

  1. Place a test order with date/time selected

  2. Complete checkout

  3. Confirm data appears on Thank You page

  4. Open the same order's Order Status page

  5. Confirm same values appear there


Common issues

  • Block added but changes not saved in Checkout Editor

  • Block added to wrong page context

  • Delivery selection not captured during checkout

  • Date/time hidden in block settings (show_date/show_time disabled)


Quick troubleshooting checklist

If delivery info is not showing:

  1. Confirm checkout widget is active

  2. Confirm customer selected date/time

  3. Confirm data exists in App -> Orders

  4. Confirm Thank You / Order Status blocks are added and saved

  5. Confirm block settings are not hiding date/time fields
